"Taronga Conservation Society and the Australian Society for Parasitology Inc. will plan to deliver an immersive Outreach event for Indigenous school students and a National Science Week outreach event for the general public during the ICOPA 2026 conference."

"Taronga has a clinical wildlife hospital and an immersive education centre, the Taronga Institute of Science and Learning, with laboratory facilities where Indigenous students participating in the event will not only be able to interact with scientists but also receive a hands-on interactive parasitology experience. Tours of the facilities and learning about animals and the parasites that affect them (https://taronga.org.au/education ) will be part of the event for school students and public events."
